Polypropylene Lumicene® M3766 is an isotactic form of propylene made via TotalEnergies proprietary technology in our polypropylene plant in La Porte, Texas.
FDA and Regulatory: Lumicene® M3766 complies with all applicable FDA regulations for food contact applications. Lumicene® M3766 is not intentionally manufactured to contain materials derived from genetically modified organisms (GMO), and is not intentionally formulated to contain or intentionally manufactured with phthalates.
Applications: Lumicene® M3766 is recommended for melt spun fiber, spunbond fiber, and extrusion coating applications. However, due to its unique and interesting properties, other applications may exist.
Processing: Lumicene® M3766 is a narrower molecular weight distribution product than conventional polypropylene. M3766 resin processes on conventional extrusion equipment with typical melt temperatures of 400°F-480°F (204°C-250°C).
