PREADD UV 115 is a masterbatch giving very good UV protection to polyolefin plastics. The active ingredient consists of HALS (Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer), which gives the most effective light stabilization effect already at low dosages. PREADD UV 115 has no effect on sealability.
PREADD UV 115 can be used in all polyolefins - mainly in thin applications, such as films and tapes. PREADD UV 115 is especially recommended for applications requiring low volatility and minimal migration.
PREADD UV 115 is approved for use in contact with foodstuffs according to FDA regulations, as long as the dosage level is less than 1.6 %.
