Product Description

Parker Chomerics PREMIER™ PC-ABS General Purpose grades are electrically conductive plastics for EMI shielding featuring a blend of PC-ABS plastic alloys and electrically conductive llers engineered for stable electrical, mechanical, and physical performance. 

PREMIER PC-ABS General Purpose grades are offered in three EMI shielding performances: economy (A220-HT), moderate (A230-HTHF) and premium (A240-HTHF) shielding performance. 

All three versions are rated for 85° C continuous use temperature and offers the most cost-effective grades of our Nickel-Plated carbon ber and granule lled polymers. A230-HTHF and A240-HTHF versions use “HF” (hybrid ller) granular graphite to improve cost and minimize post mold warpage. 

Combined with standard injection molding processes, this product delivers evenly dispersed ller throughout a part's geometry. PREMIER parts have no resin rich areas prone to EMI leaks, and no brittle, resin poor areas that can break under mechanical stress. Parker Chomerics PREMIER ‘single pellet’ materials offer superior performance and consistency when compared to many electrically conductive plastic materials. The primary advantage of PREMIER is the use of pultrusion compounding to ensure uniform amounts of conductive ller are within each pellet. 

PREMIER products are manufactured as single pellet formulations, which ensures the most reliable, consistent shielding of molded products. Single pellet or homogeneous products are far superior to multi-pellet blends (also called dry blends or salt-and-pepper blends) that use pellets from different compounds randomly mixed together.
