Ingeo biopolymer 4032D, a NatureWorks LLC product, is a thermoplastic resin derived from annually renewable resources and is specifically designed general extrusion processes when a higher melting point product is needed.
Ingeo biopolymer 4032D is a general purpose extrusion grade that is used naturally or as part of a formulated blend. When formulated with nucleating agents, product may be crystallized to achieve parts with higher HDT than its amorphous counterpart. This is a high molecular weight biopolymer grade that processes easily on conventional extrusion equipment.
Common nucleating agents are talc, ethylene bis-steramide and propriety offerings from third party suppliers
