3M™ Dyneon™ PVDF 2066/0002, a fluoropolymer  material, provides an excellent balance of physical  properties, processability, surface smoothness, flexibility,  and refractive index, allowing for a wide array of gauges  for filaments such as fishing line. In addition to the wellestablished intrinsic characteristics of PVDF such as high  strength for a given filament diameter and a refractive  index nearly identical to water, PVDF 2066/0002 has  improved impact resistance that can provide additional  shock strength to filaments.
