DOW™ Latex Powder (DLP) 212 Redispersible Latex Powder is a free-flowing, white powder obtained by spray drying an aqueous vinyl acetate-ethylene-VeoVacopolymer dispersion.
It offers all the advantages of a free-flowing powder additive such as ease of transportation, storage and handling.
DLP 212 Redispersible Latex Powder can be used in a variety of applications in the construction industry to improve key properties of cement and gypsum based formulations.
Applications
Cement based tile adhesives Tile grouts Thermal insulation systems (adhesive & reinforcement layer) Flexible tile adhesives Self leveling flooring compounds Renders Gypsum joint fillers Repair mortars Crack fillers
Advantages
DLP 212 Redispersible Latex Powder can be used in many different applications. It improves the workability and other important mechanical properties such as tensile and flexural strength and abrasion resistance. In cement based tile adhesives DLP 212 Redispersible Latex Powder offers enhanced adhesion even to difficult substrates and enhances the flexibility.
It is especially suggested for building products exposed to conditions of thermal or mechanical stress, providing good impact resistance and helping to reduce the formation of cracks.
