ALTUGLAS®BS 572 is a pure methylmethacrylate polymer with very high molecular weight in the form of spherical particles (beads) with large size.
Because of its large size and composition, ALTUGLAS®BS 572 is able to provide really interesting rough surface effects when compounded in other thermoplastic polymers (film, extrusion…).ALTUGLAS®BS 572 can give special surface effects as additive in Waterborne and UV coatings.Due to its high molecular weight, ALTUGLAS®BS 572 can be used as special Binder (glues, solvent hard topcoat…).
