Product Description

Texin 950 resin is an aromatic polyether-based thermoplastic polyurethane with a Shore hardness of approximately 50D. It can be processed by injection molding, extrusion, or blow molding.

Texin 950 resin offers outstanding abrasion resistance, impact strength, toughness, and flexibility. It also exhibits excellent inherent resistance to salt water stress cracking, and hydrolysis. Texin 950 natural color resin complies with FDA food-contact regulations 21 CFR 177.1680 (Polyurethane Resins) and 177.2600 (Rubber Articles Intended for Repeated Use), subject to the limitations of these and any other applicable regulations. In addition, Texin 950 natural color resin is listed under NSF standard 61 for use in potable water applications. Typical applications include gaskets, hose, tubing, shoe inserts, connectors, belting, and miscellaneous molded articles. As with any product, use of Texin 950 resin in a given application must be tested (including but not limited to field testing) in advance by the user to determine suitability.
